THE CHALLENGE
My goal was to create a brand identity for a homemade olive oil brand that feels organic, warm, and truly handcrafted. The main challenge was the logo: I wanted it to look naturally hand-drawn, like a simple stamp you’d see on artisan products. This was difficult for me because my drawing skills are still developing, so I had to keep the shapes very minimal and focus on clean, imperfect lines that still look intentional. I explored multiple versions of the house and olive branches, refined the balance inside the medallion, and adjusted the line weight so the mark stays readable at small sizes (label, cap engraving, and packaging). In the end, I created a simple system that supports the logo across labels, mockups, and packaging while keeping the same handmade premium feel.
